A health care provider may accept direct payment for lawful health care services and shall not be required to pay penalties or fines for accepting direct payment from a person or employer for lawful health care services.

Cemetery Ordinance Relating to Confederate Flags

Lake Wales Commission Questions Cemetery Ordinance Relating to Confederate Flags

At the meeting, three people expressed their support for removing the reference to Confederate flags from the ordinance, and one spoke in favor of keeping it.

"This is insulting to me and my family," said David Smith, president of the Lake Wales chapter of the NAACP.

"This is insulting to have a Confederate flag that tried to keep my race in slavery."
