Officials at South High School in Willoughby put a stop to sales of a T-shirt because of concerns it would be offensive.
South Rebel Moms, a nonprofit service organization, created Rebel spirit shirts to be sold to students, as well as alumni and football fans. The traditional spirit week begins at the school in preparation for football game on Thursday at North High School in Eastlake. The two schools are in the Willoughby-Eastlake School District.
